Kickstarter exceeded all of our expectations, with 1153 backers pledging $104,958 to help us launch Edison to the world.
With your help, we passed all 4 Stretch Goals and are now fully committed to delivering these promises in parallel with your EdPack rewards:
Stretch Goal 1 – EdBook 1 – Your EdVenture into Robotics;
Stretch Goal 2 – 10x teacher lesson plans;
Stretch Goal 3 – EdWare for Raspberry Pi;
Stretch Goal 4 – EdWare iOS and Android apps.
Soon (likely early next week) we will be sending out a survey to collect shipping addresses and we would also like to learn a bit more about how you plan to use Edison so we can create a great product experience for you.
Another big task for our team is setting up the meetedison website. There will be plenty of new information about getting the most from your Edison and we are planning on starting an EdTalk forum. Also, if you haven’t signed up for our newsletter yet, we encourage you to do so at www.meetedison.com.
Over the coming months, on Kickstarter, we’ll be providing exclusive backer updates about development progress, production schedules and ‘behind the scene’ glimpses into what it takes to bring Edison to life.
