As a child, I loved LEGO sets! I was a fanatic and there simply weren’t enough hours in the day to satisfy my desire to keep imagining and building. I was fortunate that my parents provided me with pocket money, which I saved to buy bigger and bigger LEGO sets. If I were a child today I would certainly have pleaded with my parents for the latest LEGO robotics set valued at $450. Yes, that’s right $450!!! For a robot for kids!
I guess we’ll never know if my ability to save my pocket money would have extended to $450, approximately a year of saving, but there is now a solution. Its name is Edison and at $39 this robot is well within the reach of everyone’s pocket money.
Edison is compatible with LEGO products, so will work with all your existing LEGO bricks and technics pieces. Edison is programmable from a computer and even has pre-programmed features, making this little robot fun straight out of the box. You can even drive Edison around using a standard TV or DVD remote control.
I hope that Edison allows more children to access robotics, so they can explore their imaginations and inventiveness.
I wonder, what will they invent?
