We’ve taken EdWare online and made it super simple to access. No installation, no driver software and as always FREE ! Just plug your Edison in and start programming!
Check out the new online version of our robot programming software EdWare.
But wait there’s more!
- With the online app you can share your programs with friends using a single URL. Check out mine here: http://www.edwareapp.com/share/lLoIT
- Upload your existing EdWare programs to EdWare online and access them from the EdWare app installed on your iPad or Android tablet
- Update your Edison’s firmware to the latest version right from the online app
We’ve also added EdWare to the Chrome store, so you can now program Edison from a Chromebook.
EdWare is now available as…
- an online app for Chrome, Firefox, Safari and Internet Explorer
- installable software for Windows, Linux, Mac and Raspberry Pi
- an iPad app from iTunes
- an Android app from Google Play
- a Chrome app from the Chrome web store
Enjoy!
Ben
Why can an iPad not do this online? It is highly inconvenient.
Hi Lee,
I’m sorry that EdWare doesn’t work in a browser on an iPad. You can download the EdWare App though.
I have tried edware on an ipad, an android, browser and mac os. Only works with the mac os app. What I’m doing wrong?
Hi Jesus, When using the EdWare apps for iPad and Android you need an internet connection. Are your tablets connected to the internet when you are downloading to Edison?
Sorry, the edware on browser works. But the ipad app, and android app don’t
Hi Jesus, Which part is not working for the tablet apps? Is it downloading only, or is the app not starting up?
Hi,
the Chrome store Edware version does not have the “test program” for example and if I write a code and try to program Edison, it does not prompt “download”.
Could we get more guidance about using Edisons with Chrome books, please?
Hi
The test program should be in the load menu.
To pull up the load menu press Menu then Load
A new pop up box should appear.
At the top of the box, there is a small drop down menu which will show the words “My Programs”
Click on the words “My Programs” and the drop down will appear.
Click on “Test Programs” in the drop down to access the test program.
In the chrome version, the “download” prompt has been replaced with a second “program Edison” prompt
