I tried to use Dell Chromebooks to program Edblocks with my students.  No matter what i have tried the file will not load.  Works perfectly with HP chromebooks.  Edison suggests disabling sound enchancements which cannot be done on a chromebook.  Anyone have any suggestions?

I work with many schools especially around the Newcastle NSW area. We found that with the Dell laptops that you had to actually plug the cable into the laptop and let it recognise it as a USB device. The IT team were then able to push out a solution to all the Dells. We didn’t have to do this with the HPs. I also always use Chrome as the browser on any device be they IOS or Windows as Chrome seems to work much smoother then Apple and Windows browsers.

At no stage have we ever had an issue with a Chromebook!!

Heads up

The Australian Federal Parliament has passed a law that extends goods and services tax (GST) to low value imports of physical goods imported by consumers from 1 July 2018.

This means that all customers purchasing Edison robots and accessories with an Australian shipping address must now pay GST. The GST will be automatically added to your purchase and show as a line item on your invoice.

We've detected that you are in Australia, so we wanted to let you know that we have changed your settings to view our Australian site, which displays GST inclusive pricing.
