Hello all, totally new to Edison and an absolute newbie in Python programming. I’m trying to get my 2 daughters (both primary school age) to learn and be interested in robotics and programming. Does anyone know of a simplistic block-type programming, like the Edware but you can view and modify the equivalent python text-base code…kinda like visual Python or a scratch to Python conversion in the Edison Robot environment. This will just make it so easy for kids (and slow adults like me) to easily build codes using visual blocked but also become familiar how the text-base Python code looks like.

Hi

We know there is a bit of a jump between block based languages like EdBlocks/EdWare and text-based languages like EdPy.

We are looking into minimising this gap as much as we can in the future

Heads up

The Australian Federal Parliament has passed a law that extends goods and services tax (GST) to low value imports of physical goods imported by consumers from 1 July 2018.

This means that all customers purchasing Edison robots and accessories with an Australian shipping address must now pay GST. The GST will be automatically added to your purchase and show as a line item on your invoice.

We've detected that you are in Australia, so we wanted to let you know that we have changed your settings to view our Australian site, which displays GST inclusive pricing.
