I'm giving Edison another go.  The last class was frustrating bc half of the Edisons broke before the end. But hopefully this semester will be better.

Can you show me the program behind the barcode for the the "IR learn cannon fire"?  I'm using EdWare, (I need something that works offline), but I can modify whatever you can show me.

We're just making the shooter portion of the tank.  I want the kids to learn to program rather than just using the barcodes.

Thanks,

Diane

Hi,

The "IR learn cannon fire" barcode is the same barcode as "IR learn drive forward"

When the IR code is detected Edison simply drives forwards. the magic here is the arm connected to Edison is connected with a basic clutch, so when the arm hits the stop the clutch keeps spinning and the arm stops

You can recreate the "IR learn drive X" barcodes using the remote event block

Here is a partial example: http://www.edwareapp.com/share/TszwT

Heads up

The Australian Federal Parliament has passed a law that extends goods and services tax (GST) to low value imports of physical goods imported by consumers from 1 July 2018.

This means that all customers purchasing Edison robots and accessories with an Australian shipping address must now pay GST. The GST will be automatically added to your purchase and show as a line item on your invoice.

We've detected that you are in Australia, so we wanted to let you know that we have changed your settings to view our Australian site, which displays GST inclusive pricing.
