Hi, I just bought 2 edison for my granddaughter last week. One of the edison is fine but another one got some problem.frownedison

When I followed the instruction on box. Put the battery inside then switch on the defected edison and press the triangle button, it move but not in a straight line. I found it only follow the flash light source to move – as your last photo on instruction manual. I did try to update the firmware from your website already and I found no matter how many times to press the circle button still can not back as your instruction manual as item 4 – navigate his way around by detecting obstacles.

I just found your post about re-install the detect obstacle program back to edison. Then what will be happened about the other program come with box? Will it erase too? Can anyone post the original program here please? Sorry! I just start to learn robot program with kid together after retire.

Thanks for anyone can help!

Hi

If your Edison is not driving straight, please go to the Drive Calibration Page.

Edison can only hold one program at a time, when you download a program or scan a new barcode the old program is replaced.

You can get the old program back by rescanning the bar code or re-downloading the program

Heads up

The Australian Federal Parliament has passed a law that extends goods and services tax (GST) to low value imports of physical goods imported by consumers from 1 July 2018.

This means that all customers purchasing Edison robots and accessories with an Australian shipping address must now pay GST. The GST will be automatically added to your purchase and show as a line item on your invoice.

We've detected that you are in Australia, so we wanted to let you know that we have changed your settings to view our Australian site, which displays GST inclusive pricing.
