edblocks has a wait until blue message received/send blue message –  what would the equivalent code be in edpy? I can’t seem to find an example and using the EventHandler Ed.Event_IR_Data to recieve and Ed.SendIRData to send. Could anyone advise or point me to a similar question?

Hi Bianca

Here is an example of using the IR event handler:

This example is for the EdPrinter so the IR message received has 2 pieces of information included (speed and direction)

To send a message you simply need to use the “Ed.SendIRData” function anywhere in the program. here is the program that controls the printer and sends the signals to the IR event handler program:

Again this has 2 pieces of information included (speed and direction)

But you can just send any number between 0-255 as long as one Edison sends the number and the other Edison checks for that same number it should work

Heads up

The Australian Federal Parliament has passed a law that extends goods and services tax (GST) to low value imports of physical goods imported by consumers from 1 July 2018.

This means that all customers purchasing Edison robots and accessories with an Australian shipping address must now pay GST. The GST will be automatically added to your purchase and show as a line item on your invoice.

We've detected that you are in Australia, so we wanted to let you know that we have changed your settings to view our Australian site, which displays GST inclusive pricing.
