Idea for future revision of edison

I use about 20 Edison V.2’s in a k-6 computer lab for about 600 students.

I think it would be great if there were a barcode that would clear the edison’s memory.

It is helpful for each new class to have an edison that does nothing until they successfully program it themselves.  I think a barcode would be just a little faster than flashing each one with a blank program with the cable.

Just a thought…

This is a great idea and one we will keep in mind.

If we can, we will try to make this process even easier in the next version of Edison.

For the time being, a quick trick that will help out is a 6-way audio splitter like this:…..dOYkwSeTUg

Using one of the arms as the input you can run 5 EdComm cables off of it.

I have used it plus 5 EdCoasters to rapidly reprogram a few large sets of Edisons here in the office

Heads up

The Australian Federal Parliament has passed a law that extends goods and services tax (GST) to low value imports of physical goods imported by consumers from 1 July 2018.

This means that all customers purchasing Edison robots and accessories with an Australian shipping address must now pay GST. The GST will be automatically added to your purchase and show as a line item on your invoice.

We've detected that you are in Australia, so we wanted to let you know that we have changed your settings to view our Australian site, which displays GST inclusive pricing.
