I want to combine the automatic lights with light following.  Would the best way be to use a new event running in the background that detects the lights?  Or should I use multiple IF…LOOPs in the main program?

Please give a thorough explanation.  I’m not a “real” teacher, just a homeschool mom trying to make a class for 4th and 5th graders.  I’ve been doing Parallax Boe-bots for years, but teaching this old dog a new trick is tough.

Personally, I’d use a loop in the main program to check for the lights and use events to do the line following

Heads up

The Australian Federal Parliament has passed a law that extends goods and services tax (GST) to low value imports of physical goods imported by consumers from 1 July 2018.

This means that all customers purchasing Edison robots and accessories with an Australian shipping address must now pay GST. The GST will be automatically added to your purchase and show as a line item on your invoice.
