I can’t believe it’s here! After almost a year of sketching, soldering, 3D printing, playing with LEGO products and programming Edison is now finally Kickstarter launch day. But, this isn’t the end! Not by a long shot! It’s just a new beginning for this little robot!!

Edison will need to raise at least $20,000 in pledges to become a commercial reality. It’s a big ask for such a little robot with an even smaller price.

Seriously though, Edison has the potential to revolutionise how robotics is taught in schools across the world. For the first time ever, a fully programmable robot, that is compatible with LEGO products, will be in the reach of students and the inventors of tomorrow.

‘How can I help?’ I hear you ask… You can play a BIG part in making Edison a success by backing him with a pledge on Kickstarter. Pledges start from just a tiny $1 and for as little as $39 you will become the proud owner of your very own Edison robot!

Edison also needs friends, not robot friends, people friends that will spread the word about him. If you want to help, and I’m sure you do! Then spread the word on FacebookGoogle+ and Linked In. Just a couple of clicks makes a HUGE difference!!

So, what will you invent!?

Heads up

The Australian Federal Parliament has passed a law that extends goods and services tax (GST) to low value imports of physical goods imported by consumers from 1 July 2018.

This means that all customers purchasing Edison robots and accessories with an Australian shipping address must now pay GST. The GST will be automatically added to your purchase and show as a line item on your invoice.

We've detected that you are in Australia, so we wanted to let you know that we have changed your settings to view our Australian site, which displays GST inclusive pricing.
