Hi,

I have been working with Ed.Ware then switched over to Ed.Py.  The last programme I uploaded to Edison using Ed.Ware appears not to be overridden by the new code I have written in Ed.Py.  Edison is making all of the right noises and when I programme in Ed.Py is says that my code is fine.  I have noticed that the Ed.Py code takes longer to upload.

When I press the play button and programming the old programme from Ed.Ware is still there.

Thanks

Kellieconfused

Hi,

I am having same problem as Kellie. I tried the Test Program and also noticed that it takes a lot longer to download compared to the ones done in EdWare and after it is done, the program does not work.

Please help.

Thanks.

Michael

Update 10Jun17…

I tried the first part of the Test_Program which has the PlayBeep, LeftLed, RightLed commands and it works. The moment I add the Drive command, it takes longer to download and does not work.

Hi, Michael

To rule out that the issue you are experiencing is being caused by low batteries, please replace all four batteries with new Alkaline-based normal disposable batteries or nickel metal hydride rechargeable batteries.

Please make sure the batteries you are using are not “Heavy Duty” or “Super Heavy Duty” as these types of batteries can cause issues with Edison.

Regards,

Jamal

Heads up

The Australian Federal Parliament has passed a law that extends goods and services tax (GST) to low value imports of physical goods imported by consumers from 1 July 2018.

This means that all customers purchasing Edison robots and accessories with an Australian shipping address must now pay GST. The GST will be automatically added to your purchase and show as a line item on your invoice.

We've detected that you are in Australia, so we wanted to let you know that we have changed your settings to view our Australian site, which displays GST inclusive pricing.
