I am using edware app on a Samsung galaxy tab3. Android version 4.4.2. I cannot download the program I created to Edison. I press record on the device, then start download and nothing happens. No sound, and Edison’s both LEDs are constantly on. Volume is at max and no sound enhancer. What could be wrong?

For safety reasons some tablets automatically drop the volume when something is plugged into the headphone jack.
Additionally, some tablets set a limit on the physical volume rocker switch when something is plugged into the headphone jack.
Please try, plugging in the EdComm Cable, going into the settings and turning the volume to maximum.
It may pop up a box warning you that high volumes can damage your ears just click through that

Thanks for the quick reply, Ben.
In the meantime I was able to get it work through my hifi amp, so the problem is the low volume level of the tablet.
I have also made some research in the subject and considering the number of complaints referring to this issue, I really think a solution should be sought by the developers to ensure a straightforward and reliable way to program the robot from a tablet, with no additional devices.
But until then, I am thinking of using a portable amp for this purpose, as having to fiddle with the setings of my hifi amp each time I want to download a program is a pain. Has anyone experience whether this would work? I don’t want to spend more money unless I am certain in the result.
